Art Division pick up ‘Entrepreneur of the Year 2005’ award
(Part of the Her Business Project, funded by European Regional Development Fund)
A gathering of East London’s female entrepreneurs raised a glass of champagne to their business success at a training and awards event last Wednesday, 16th February.
But Art Division had an even better reason to celebrate. Director and company founder Nelly Berova took home the prestigious award for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Nelly took over the marketing for Art Division Ltd in August 2004. Since then she has been building the company’s web, graphic design and email marketing products and services and over the past six months has earned the respect and recognition of those within the Her Business project and beyond.
A spokesman said: “It is a great honour for Nelly to receive this award and the competition was tough!”
The Her Business project has 120 businesses from South London covering a wide range of areas. Some of the other companies involved include designer t-shirts, wedding dresses, matching shoes and handbags, specialist cushions and a business bartering network
A company colleague said: “Nelly’s drive and ambition, her success at networking and ability to learn and change on the job has secured her a great and well-deserved award”.
